Like it or not its amazing the amount of ingenuity and creativity that has come from the oil and gas industry.  There are so many everyday products that truly make life easier and are a direct result of the petroleium industry.  Next time you see a pump jack or talk to someone works in the industry remember how so much of our everyday lives is a result of oil.
